About Kate


Kate Racovolis is an accomplished journalist, editor and communications specialist with 15 years’ experience in the media in Australia and the UK.

Kate was previously editor of The Growth Agenda at The Australian newspaper and a former Forbes contributor. Most recently, she served as Features Editor of The Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Director magazine.

Creative and commercially astute, Kate has worked with directors and C-suite leaders in multiple markets throughout her communications and journalism career. She is regularly called upon as a panel moderator and speaker for business events and live vodcast interviews.

Kate is passionate about advancing the next generation of media and communications professionals. Her expertise has been sought by leading academic institutions, including RMIT University’s School of Media and Communication, as a sessional academic and guest lecturer and has taught students in Melbourne and Singapore.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University in New York. She is currently Co-President of the Columbia Association of Australia.
